Ingredients

Homemade Toasted Almond Butter

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • ¼-3/4 sea salt, optional
  • 2 teaspoons honey, agave, maple syrup, or to taste

The method

Directions

  1. 01

Adjust oven rack to center position and preheat to 350 degrees F.

  2. 02

  3. 03

  4. 04

Sprinkle sea salt and sweetener (if using) over top and process to combine.

  5. 05

With a rubber spatula, scrape the almond butter from the work bowl into a jar with a tight fitting lid. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 months.
